Christopher Sykes started dealing in antiques in 1949 in St.Albans, exhibiting at London Antique Fairs, in the provinces as well as in New York, U.S.A. In 1968 he and his wife came to Woburn, where they purchased the fine Georgian house known as the Old Parsonage. Five centrally heated showrooms on the ground floor and cellars, are crammed with antiques of all descriptions, but mainly specialising in Wine Related Antiques.

A warm welcome awaits you when you visit Woburn which is situated in the lovely Bedfordshire countryside, only 40 miles north of London via the M1 Motorway. Excellent car parking is available for you in the village. If you wish to travel by train please take the fast train service from London Euston to Bletchely or Milton Keynes from where taxis will bring you the 9 mile trip to Woburn. Well worth a visit whilst in Woburn is Woburn Abbey, the magnificent stately home of the Dukes of Bedford. Their estate boasts an Antique centare as well as a fine Deer park. Excellent accommodation can be found at the Bedford Arms Hotel, and the Bell Hotel both in Woburn Village.
